About me
Ever since I was a child, I have always been fascinated with cameras. I would use my parents' camcorder to record "toy reviews" with my toy trains or transformers. I often made small "movies", making up stories and filming them for my parents to watch.
Going into my early teens, I received an iPad as a birthday gift from my parents. This entirely changed my video-making world as it allowed me to record, edit, and publish clips all in one place. This is truly where my love for creating short films began. I would spend weekends with my friends and cousins creating silly shorts and skits and upload them to YouTube. High school is where my skills that I had built up really got me anywhere. I was offered a temporary editing job at Flying Goose Media, and I had received an academic award and scholarship for my work in my visual media class and the photography and videography I had done for the school. I put together the "grad video" for the class of 2022, and made multiple short films at the school. The scholarship I received helped get me into the film production program at Red Deer Polytechnic, where I currently study. I am entering my second term of my second year, and have helped make over a dozen short films within the program thus far. This is only the beginning! Join me on my filmmaking journey. |
